The World’s Longest Bus Journey Will Visit 22 Countries This Summer

From August 2023, travelers can embark on the world's longest bus ride, traversing 22 countries from Istanbul to London without worrying about visas, gas, or driving.

Bus to London, a new service offered by Adventures Overland, is aimed at extreme travelers who want to enjoy the experience of a lifetime.

The company will handle everything, from food to visa requirements, allowing passengers to sit back and enjoy the journey.

Adventures Overland was started in 2012 by Sanjay Madan and Tushar Agarwal, offering an adventure cross-border road trip that covers six continents and 70 countries.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the company had to slow down on its travels, but it is now back with a new road trip that is expected to be the longest bus ride known to humankind.

The 56-day excursion will set passengers back by $24,300 but will include everything from breakfast to dinners and visa requirements for the different countries on the itinerary.

Passengers will journey through countries such as Greece, Bulgaria, Serbia, Germany, and more.

The ride will last two months, and the seats are built to be comfortable enough for such a long journey, allowing passengers to recline and enjoy the scenery from a summer perspective.

The price includes hotel breaks to stay in and stretch your legs for a night or two, and even the famous EV Ferries on the Great Atlantic Road will be part of the experience.

Traveling by bus or train is an excellent way to travel sustainably this season, reducing carbon emissions and avoiding long security lines and delayed flights.

This trip is perfect for solo travelers open to meeting new people or couples and small families who want to do something unique this summer.

Traveling with intention is also trending this season, and this journey can be part of that. The price may be steep, but it's an adventure that you won't regret.
