Tourists aged 16 and above can apply online through the E-Visa portal, and the visa is valid for multiple entries into the country. The price for the 5-year visa is $700, and there is no definitive date for its implementation yet.

With this new visa program, the country wants to challenge traditional tourists to explore more than the Pyramids of Giza, as it is home to thousands of archaeological sites, six UNESCO World Heritage sites, and an underrated coastline.
